As I said earlier, I am a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Essex with a big passion for the animal kingdom. My favourite thing explore in my artwork is animal characters. I love to think about their individual personalities and how they would express that and what kind of world they would live in.

My go to art supplies are mostly gouache paint, brush pens and coloured pencils. But I also enjoy digital sketching on the iPad and experimenting with mixed media. I want to get better at just playing with art materials and focus less on perfection.

I also create bright and happy animal illustrated gifts including art prints, greeting cards, stickers and pins produced from my illustrations. All my creations are crafted by myself or using UK based companies. I've found my artwork attracts both adults and children and it's fantastic to hear people tell me why they are drawn to a particular character.

My biggest aspiration in life is to live in a woodland cabin by the mountains, surrounded by wildlife and the quietness of nature. Until that happens, I'll be working the 9-5 but every other waking moment is dedicated to seeking and seeing beautiful places of the world and creating my happy animals characters.
