Hello,

I am an artist, illustrator and pine-cone collector based in Essex. My biggest inspiration for my work comes from animals and the natural world, but I find it impossible to illustrate just a simple animal. I love to create anthropomorphic characters by adding face paint, clothes and accessories to build a story around them. My medium of choice is gouache to celebrate the bold and vibrant colours of the animal kingdom.

I currently work as a full-time veterinary nurse but I have pretty big ambitions outside of my veterinary career such as potentially illustrating a children’s book or producing my own graphic novel about a bluegrass band made of woodland creatures.

I create bright and happy animal illustrated gifts including art prints, greeting cards, stickers and pins which you can find in my online shop. All my creations are crafted by myself or using UK based companies. I have found my artwork attracts both adults and children and it's fantastic to hear people tell me why they are drawn to a particular character.
