My artwork and illustrations focus entirely on bringing happy, animal characters and the fantastical worlds they live in to life using gouache paint and mixed media mediums. I enjoy exploring anthropomorphism to make my characters relatable but I also love to incorporate natural elements into their environments and personalities.
I work in sketchbooks using traditional media which I then scan and edit on my desktop to create products for my shop.
Rusty Raccoon & the River Reeds
The Bear Bones Colouring Book, 2021
I undertook the challenge of creating an A4 colouring book filled with illustrations portraying animal warriors. This project allowed me to explore a theme and create characters within that world. It was a very popular product at artisan craft markets, with interest shown from both children and adults. This showed me how much my artwork appeals to a broad range of ages.
The Big Cat Collection, 2019
A series of four big cats on colourful backgrounds made the Big Cat Collection in 2019, which I produced on greeting cards, mugs and coasters.
